Turquoise Card 2

Another turquoise card made with the Spellbinders dies.  This time I used the Ironworks Accents and Motifs, Foilage, Bitty Blossoms, a square and a label.  All the card is Coredinations cardstock in various tones of turquoise.  Enjoyed doing this one!

Turquoise Card 1

On a roll today!  Another card made with the new Spellbinder Persian Accents and Motifs.  Also used the Bitty Blossoms and Floral Flourishes.  Oh, I wish the card would come out of the dies a bit easier......  Oh and then pricking all the left over bits out......... I suppose its worth it in the end!

Pink and Brown Card

Good afternoon!  Another Spellbinder die card! Dies used were the new Bitty Blossoms (they give much smaller flowers), Foilage, a label die and tag. Thought I would only use the outside of the label die to give different effect. Embossed the top brown card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Need to buy some of the new Spellbinder ones but dies come first! This is similar to the brown and turquoise card but I was asked to make it in pink.  It is for a 21st birthday.  The smaller image is a topper for the A4 bow it is presented in.  I made this becuse the card ws going to be handed to the person not posted and I thought it would finish it off!

Brown and Turquoise Card 2

Another blue and brown card using the left overs of the card I posted earlier.  Using the new Spellbinder Persian accents and motifs.  The circular pattern in the middle is two four pointed stars and then arranged together.  They were a devil to get out of the die.  Any ideas how to do it without breaking the fine strands?  The new Bitty Blossoms dies were used to make the flower.

Brown and Turquoise Card 1

Good morning!  Just had a big Asda shop arrive and now relaxing finishing a card I finished last night.  Another Spellbinder die card!  Dies used were the new Bitty Blossoms (they give much smaller flowers), Foilage, a label die and tag.  Thought I would only use the outside of the label die to give  different effect.  Embossed the top brown card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  Need to buy some of the new Spellbinder ones but dies come first!

A Rose Fairy

Just finished this last night!  Should've been pink and purple but changed the colours to orange and peach!  lso didn't put so many flowers round it!  Quite cute!

Rust Card 2

A rust 6 x 6 card, with a cream mount, made using Spellbinder dies.  I used the new lace border die and threaded orange satin and organza ribbon through the ribbon holes.  The sentiment was made using the Ornate Artisan tags and accent set.  The flower and leaves were made using the Marianne Design Creatable dies called Open Flowers Trendy. Gems and orange Candi added extra oomph!

Rust Card 1

Using an A5 cream base card, I added a tan embossed and distressed mount. The Spellbinder dies used for the main design were the Parisian motifs and accents.  Bits that were left from the die cutting were used for extra embellishment.  The floral decoration used the Spiral Blossom 2 and Floral Flourishes. Gems were added to the sentiment tag for sparkle.

Green Birthday Card

I love this card.  It looks so clean and fresh.  A pale green 6 x 6 was used with two different tomnes of green and white card for the die cuts.  The Spellbinder dies I used were a Floral Doiley accent for the olive green border and Moroccan motifs and accents for the white card on the embellishment, separated by a dark green tag die. The florl decortion was made using the Spirl Blossom 2 and some of the Foilage dies.

Gulfraz's Birthday Card

I used a tan 6 x 6 card base with cream die cuts.  The dies I used were the Spellbinder Ironworks motifs and accents in both tan and cream.  A gold circle die cut formed the base of the embellishment.

Lesley's Birthday Card

A card made using Spellbinder dies.  I made the A5 card using maroon and cream card.  I used the Parisian motifs and accents dies.  For the floral decoration I used Floral Flourishes and Spiral Blossom 2.  Cream pearlescent candi and gems were the other embellishments.

March 2012

This is the latest lot that I have just finished.  The fairy is a new pattern book that I have just acquired.  Shall enjoy doing my own colour variations!  I posted the picture on Facebook and the pirate was bagged!  Sold on the Monday!  Robin Hood, Davy Crockett and a footballer make up the back row!  Poor teddy in the front looks a bit sad! Working on another fairy now, soon to posted!

Christmas Bazaar 2011

These were the toys that I made for the Christmas Bazaar in 2011.  A few new toys in this one, having found some different pattern books.  Ebay a great source for books that are not published any more! The monsters are lovely to do and are knitted in a sock wool!  Love the randomness!  Enjoy doing the dolls too and love to create my own different characters from the basic pattern!

Christmas Bazaar 2010

 A selection of toys made for the Christmas bazaar at school in 2010.  Mice, rats, pands, bunnies, ducks, piglets, elephants and koala bears.  After I had made them all, decided to make one for each of my form that were leaving in July 2011.  I asked them all what their favourite animal was ages before they left and managed to get 22 all done.  Each one had a little tag round its neck wishing them Good Luck.  Some were very touched.  I wonder if they still ahve them?  All of them were knitted in double knitting wool on four needles!

Clown 4

This was the 4th clown I made for the Macmillan coffee morning.  It was also guess the name.  I think his name was Bertie Bloomer and we shortened it to Bertie.  Again I loved doing it.  About time that I did another one!

Clown 3

This was the third clown I made for the Christmas Bazaar at school.  He was part of guess the name of the clown! It was won by one of the cleaners.  I loved doing this one because there were loads of bits to make him up and the colours were so bright!

This clown was made for my next great nephew Archie! The clown was nearly as big as Archie! I wish Dad had put a shirt on though before having his picture taken!  Archie seemed to like bits of the clown!
